The Frontier Counties Development Council

Is a regional development initiative that focuses on the socio-economic growth and empowerment of the frontier or arid and semi-arid areas of Kenya. The organization primarily works in the counties of northeastern Kenya, which are characterized by environmental challenges, underdevelopment, and
historical neglect. FCDC aims to address the developmental gaps in these regions by coordinating government efforts, engaging local communities, and promoting sustainable economic activities.
